Detroit Waza Flow Kicks Off MASL D3 2024-25 Season

Detroit has been instrumental and founding members of the PASL Professional Division, MASL D1, MASL D2, MLIS & now MASL D3 inaugural seasons.

Detroit Waza Flo won the PASLNational Championships in 2007 and were Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) Eastern Division Champions in 2012 and 2013.  We were also finalists in the League Championships each of those years.  In 2013, the Waza Flo vanquished the storied San Diego Sockers for the U.S. Open Cup Championship to claim the coveted trophy.  The Waza Flo is one of the original founding clubs of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL D1).  In 2017,  we moved to the MASL 2 and won the Major League Futsal (MLF) National Championship in the professional division.  In 2019, Waza Flo also competed in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) outdoor 11v11 so the players could continue to compete throughout the year. 2022-23 we joined the  Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS). 2023-24 PASL a lost in Open Cup Semi Finals. 2024-25 founding member of the major arena, soccer league (MASL3).

The Waza Flo Roster is made up of players from across the Globe that have played in either Collegiate Soccer and/or Professionally in the U.S. or abroad.  

In Japanese, the word “Waza” means “technique” and in Swahili, “Waza” means “to think clearly”.
